The 26-year-old has turned down the offer of a new contract with the Glovers in favour of a move to fellow Sky Bet League Two outfit Cheltenham Town, where he will sign from July 1st.
Dawson, who arrived in Somerset in January 2013, enjoyed instant success by helping Town reach the Championship via the League One play-offs during the 2012/13 campaign, which included netting the opening goal in the 2-0 win over Sheffield United in the second leg of the semi-final at home.
The Irishman went on to make 141 appearances for the Green and Whites scoring nine times, including 47 appearances and three goals in all competitions this season.
Everyone at the club would like to thank Kevin for his contribution over the past four years and wish him all the best for the future.
