Completing two charity rides in the space of a few months, Dave’s first outing took him from Watchet on the North Somerset coast down to West Bay on the Dorset coastline, home to the recent ITV drama Broadchurch.
Covering 55 miles and over 3,500 feet in elevation, Dave completed the ride in three hours and 38 minutes.
Dave would like to take the opportunity to thank all the people who sponsored him for this ride with proceeds going to The Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance.
With one down and one to go, his next challenge takes place at the end of July when he will be taking on The London 100 – a 100-mile cycle ride starting and ending on closed roads in the streets of the capital.
Dave will be supporting The Whizz-Kidz Charity who supply much-needed help and support to children with ranging disabilities. If you would like to donate to this great cause, you can visit Dave’s Virgin Money Giving page by clicking here.
