Darren Way has spent 366 days as Yeovil Town manager, winning 20 of his 55 matches at a rate of 36.3%.
Weasel’s record in league matches stands at 17 wins from 45 matches with a win percentage of 37.7% – the second highest of any Yeovil manager since the club entered the English Football League in 2003.
Way’s current average sees him above Russell Slade (who took Yeovil to the League One play-off final) and Gary Johnson in his second spell with the club (which saw Town promoted to the Championship).
In Way’s tenure, the Glovers equalled a club record since entering the EFL of five games without conceding a goal (450 minutes), claiming four wins and one draw in the process earlier this season.
His longest unbeaten run as a manager is eight matches, achieved earlier this campaign when Town went on a run in League Two of five victories and three draws.
Way’s biggest win of his managerial career came earlier this month – the 5-0 victory against Crawley Town at Huish Park was Yeovil’s biggest league win since 2004, and equalled the club’s biggest ever margin of victory in a football league fixture.
Overall, the 37-year-old has collected 64 points from his 55 league games in charge, scoring 68 goals and conceding 85, keeping 24 clean sheets since taking charge one year ago.
This season, Yeovil have used just 19 players – the lowest of any team in the top four divisions of English football, with Chelsea second having used 20 players. Similarly, Yeovil have conceded just 20.84% of their goals in the first half, better than any other side in England.
