Town manager Darren Way has been nominated for the Sky Bet League Two ‘Manager of the Month Award’ for January.

After guiding the Glovers to three wins in four Sky Bet League Two games, Darren has been nominated for the award, which will be decided and announced on Friday 5th February.

The full list of nominees are below:

Neal Ardley (AFC Wimbledon)
Entertainment all the way from Ardley’s team in January. The emphasis he places on attack draws in the crowds and accounted for three wins and 11 goals from four games as the Dons moved into the Play-Off picture.

Paul Tisdale (Exeter City)
Juggled his squad impressively through a crowded seven-game programme in all competitions, amassing 10 points from five league games – including a 2-1 win over promotion-chasing Accrington Stanley – to stay in Play-Off contention.

Darren Way (Yeovil Town)
As first managerial jobs go, taking over a team bottom of the Sky Bet Football League must rank as the toughest. Two months in, Way has bred confidence, instilled organisation and led his side to three wins in four January games.

Chris Wilder (Northampton Town)

Having steered his side through the financial uncertainty of autumn, Wilder has ensured that harmony off the pitch hasn’t sated the hunger on it. A vital win at rivals Plymouth Argyle underpinned a maximum 12-point haul and sent the Cobblers top.

ALL WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON FRIDAY FEBRUARY 5 2016

The judging panel comprises former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports’ Football League expert Don Goodman; Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson; League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Football Trading Manager Paul Lowery.
