Yeovil Town head to the capital tomorrow afternoon (3pm) to take on Dagenham & Redbridge in search of their first win of the 2020/21 National League Season.

Darren Sarll’s side enter the game on the back of an away draw at Halifax Town on Tuesday evening, however he is under no illusions that tomorrow’s game is going to be an easy test for the Glovers.

It’s going to be a tough game, when you look at Dagenham before the season started, they recruited heavily with very established players at a significant cost. They’ve assembled well so it’s going to be a difficult test for us.

“Last season, we obviously only played them the once, but I thought it was real tough game and we arguably signed their best player on the back of that performance (Quigley)

We played well in midweek and learnt a lot of lessons from it. Hopefully we can learn from those going into the weekend and put in an even better performance in.”

Joe Quigley made his debut during midweek and Sarll has expressed his importance on getting the best out of his latest signing.

Joe is a great player and if he provides us with goals then he will be a good asset

“He is a player I’ve always admired and hoped that one day I could work with him so to have him at the club is great.

“It was nice to get Joe on the pitch on Tuesday to express his qualities.

He’s got different qualities to us and has been through a difficult time recently but I as a manager have always prided myself on working with lads who need another chance or that extra bit of motivation so I’m looking forward to getting the most out of Joe this season.”
