Yeovil Town made it three wins in a row in spectacular style with a 1-4 victory over ten-man Barnet.

Two goals in two minutes from Jimmy Smith and Billy Sass-Davies built a comfortable advantage for Town before J.J. Hooper fired a stunning effort beyond Adam Smith to make a game of it.

After Tomi Adeloyi was sent off, it was one-way traffic throughout, with Rhys Murphy and Josh Neufville joining the scoring in the second half.

With games coming thick and fast, Darren Sarll made two changes to his Yeovil Town side.

Adam Smith remained in goal, but Michael Kelly returned to the defence alongside Sass-Davies, Max Hunt and Alex Bradley.

The other change came in the midfield as Tom Knowles returned to the fold after his last-minute winner against Dagenham & Redbridge. He was joined by J.Smith, Neufville and Albi Skendi.

Reuben Reid and Murphy started up front once again.

Like most games in recent weeks, the Glovers came out the traps fast as Skendi found shooting room on the edge of the box in the first minute, but his effort was well-saved by Scott Loach.

Just minutes later, J.Smith fired an effort on the half volley from around 25-yards, but his shot flew narrowly over the bar.

However, it wouldn’t take long for J.Smith to make amends for his miss, opening the scoring on 11 minutes. After Reid’s initial effort was saved, Yeovil’s number ten reacted first to hammer the ball home.

One quickly became two as on 13 minutes. Sass-Davies scored his first goal for the Green and Whites, heading home from Michael Kelly’s corner to double the advantage.

Barnet did pull one back via a spectacular effort from J.J. Hooper who fired a volley on the turn beyond A.Smith to complete a frantic opening fifteen minutes.

In the 33rd minute, the game’s dynamic took a major shift as Adeloye was sent off for dissent after blocking Kelly’s free kick.

In what was a professional performance, Yeovil didn’t rush chances, and held onto the ball whilst Barnet sat off to keep shape.

After the half-time break was when Town made the extra man pay, making chance after chance from the off.

Both Skendi and Neufville went close after great individual runs, but it took a typical poacher finish from Murphy following Bradley’s free kick to add the Glovers third of the night.

The game became a training exercise in the second half, with Bradley often enjoying the freedom of the Hive down the green and white’s right flank.

However, Town’s fourth came from the left, after great endeavour from substitute Chris Dagnall, Neufville was found free on the left flank to beautifully finish beyond Loach and cap off a successful night in London for Yeovil.
