After manager Darren Way and the first team squad paid for fans to enjoy refreshments last season, the club will repeat the gesture on Saturday.

Way was keen to once again reward the fans making the 660-mile round trip to watch Town take on the Cumbrians.

Vouchers to the value of £300 will be handed over to Green and Whites Supporters Association vice-chairman Paul Hadlow who will distribute at the ground.

“It was something we did last season and we all felt it important to show our thanks again – that’s the whole club,” Way said.

“The commitment to follow us to Carlisle at the end of a working week is unbelievable and something we truly appreciate.

“We’ll do our best to make the trip worthwhile on the pitch, but hope this offer shows how thankful the club is for their support.”

Vouchers will be available shortly after the GWSC’s arrival at Carlisle on Saturday afternoon.
