After a thoroughly disappointing week last week where my ambition got the better of me, we’re back with another three selections from the football league for our SkyBet Treble.

Sign up to SkyBet HERE and be sure to assign yourself to Yeovil Town in the Transfer Fund promotion.

If you win, the Glovers are set for a large chunk towards the transfer budget and you could net a £5000.

Starting in the Championship and if I asked you to name which two sides remain unbeaten many people will fire out the name of Nottingham Forest, but the second team’s start to the season seems to have crept under the radar.

Charlton Athletic have played seven, won three and drawn four and find themselves safely in the play-offs.

They travel to Rotherham this week and I think it might be a good time to stick with the in-form sides.

Rotherham have only won once at home this season and that was by a single goal, that goal is the only time they’ve scored on their own patch.

Despite the big spending Millers adding to their fire power they could once again struggle.

Athletic are the side on a roll and at 5/2 to get a big away win, it’s ambitious but potentially worth the gamble.

Charlton to beat Rotherham at 5/2.

Into League One and it’s another away team I’m backing and a team that Yeovil have already beaten.

However, Bradford City travel to lowly Colchester this weekend, with an away record to match anyone.

They’ve played four on the road this season winning three and drawing the other.

Compare that to Colchester’s home form and it strikes me as a one sided affair, the U’s have won 0, drawn 1, lost three conceding nine goals in the process.

A Bantams win could put them as high as second, with Yeovil beating Peterborough helping them out of course.

Bradford to beat Colchester at 8/5.

Finally, in League Two I am finally backing a home favourite.

Shrewsbury host Newport and the Shrews’ 100% record at home is quite frankly brilliant and not to be backed against.

Four wins out of four, nine scored and just the one conceded says this really should be a home banker.

Newport find themselves in 17th with an average away record, however they do have a nice little unbeaten run.

But I cannot back against that home form of the Shrews especially at odds of nearly Even money.

Shrewsbury to beat Newport at 10/11.

Those three together come to a very tempting 16/1, meaning that a £5 treble returns over £86.

With those odds being quite so tempting, I’ll be making sure I cover the doubles as well as the trebles so not to lose out on some great value if one lets us down.

As always, the £5 stake mentioned above is merely a suggestion, only gamble to the level to which you are comfortable.

Yeovil Special

The Glovers host Peterborough this weekend and with the away side slight favourites given Yeovil’s lack of a home win in a number of months.

However, we’re a positive bunch here and so we’re looking for value elsewhere.

Yeovil have drawn their last three home games and it is 3/1 that the game ends either 1-1, 2-2 or 3-3.

Two of the Glovers substitutes from Tuesday night are former Posh players and we all know how often players come back to score against their old employers.

Nathan Ralph is 6/1 to score at any time and Seth Nana Twumasi is 9/1 to notch against Darren Ferguson’s men.

But the real value here lies in Ben Nugent, a former Posh loanee, is 9/1 to score in 90 minutes. With much of the Glovers’ success coming from set pieces  who says the Cardiff loanee won’t get on the end of a corner or free kick.
