Ben’s Bets are back and we’re following on from a winning treble last week so the pressure is really on.

The Football League’s principal sponsors Sky Bet are offering their usual range of markets for the weekend’s fixtures as well as offering Yeovil fans the chance to earn loyalty points for their club in the SkyBet Transfer Fund promotion. Sign up by clicking here.

Once again, we’re keeping it simple with one selection from each division and starting in the Championship, we are taking on one of the three relegated Premier League sides.

All is not well at Fulham and three losses in a row has seen them rooted to the bottom of the table, they played 24 hours later than the rest of the division too as Wolverhampton Wanderers beat them 1-0 on Wednesday evening.

With extra 24 hours of recovery time and a home crowd behind them, I’m backing Derby County to keep the cottagers firmly in 24th.

Derby to beat Fulham @ 3/4

In League One, I’m going straight to the top of the table and the league leaders Fleetwood have got off to a flying start; three league wins and just the one goal conceded mean they look like the team to be followed in the form charts.

The have a difficult visit of Chesterfield on Saturday. Chesterfield may have six points in the bag but are coming off the back of a defeat in midweek.

The odds suggest this will be close fought battle however I think that the home side will edge it and the value bet at 6/4 are too good to turn down.

Fleetwood to beat Chesterfield @ 6/4

Finally, in League Two and Hartlepool United are yet to even score a goal, let alone secure a point in the league and they aren’t going to have an easy ride against an AFC Wimbledon side who sit comfortably in the play-off places.

Their midweek win over Southend was the perfect foundation to spring onto the weekend’s fixtures and the price of 10/11 seems short, but when combined with the other two in this bet adds some real value.

AFC Wimbledon to beat Hartlepool @ 10/11

A £5 treble on these three pays out at over 7/1 meaning a return over just over £41.

Of course, bet to the level you are comfortable with.

In the Yeovil game, I guess that one man will be on everyone’s betting radar.

Paddy Madden is 6/1 to score first against his old employers and 7/4 to net at any time, odds aren’t available on whether or not he celebrate.

But, we’re a positive bunch at YTFC.net.

So the bet of the day is a Paddy Madden losing scorecast.

Madden to score first, but Yeovil to come back and win 2-1. 70/1.
