The 18-year-old made four appearances for the Magpies during a loan spell in September and early October, with Bassett also spending time away with the Northern Ireland Under-19 squad during that time. 

Bassett, who impressed during his first spell at the club, will be available for selection for Dorchester’s FA Trophy match against Barnstaple Town at the Avenue on Saturday, alongside fellow Yeovil-loanee Joe Lea. 

Former Glovers fans’ favourite Nick Crittenden will be working with the Town duo, in his role as player/assistant manager at Dorchester.
