How ironic that Yeovil Town, probably the biggest Giant Killer in FA Cup history, should find that their next three matches pitch them up against the three biggest headline makers of the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Tuesday sees MK Dons at Huish Park, hot on the heels of their remarkable 4-2 upset at Loftus Road, with returning old boy Dean Bowditch amongst there numbers.

Then it is the turn of Brentford to visit Huish Park after their valiant 2-2 draw against the European Champions Chelsea. The Bees will feel upset that they were unable to hang on when in a 2-1 lead only minutes to go.

Then The Glovers travel North to take on Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park who will be buzzing after knocking Liverpool out of the Cup.

Cup triumph is one thing but with victory comes the added pressure of keeping that form going in the league.

MK Dons are sitting just above Yeovil in League One a point better off than Yeovil, but their away form has been nothing to write home about with only four wins so Yeovil will have no fears about their current form.

Brentford, currently third on fifty points, are all together a more challenging prospect with only two defeats away from home this season, but let’s not forget we easily beat the Bees 3-1 at the beginning of the season.

Finally we have Oldham, but will they still be revelling in the glory of the Liverpool match when the Chairman has already raised questions about manager Paul Dichov tenure in the job.

The Glovers were easy winners just before Christmas with a 4-1 score line and have a good record at Boundary Park.

So will FA Cup glory translate into League form it will it be a case of after The Lord Mayor’s Show?
