With Forest 2-0 up after the first leg, Yeovil had it all to do at the City Ground to progress to the League One play-off final.

However they produced a magnificent display to overcome a strong Forest side.

Arron Davies fires past Paul Smith on 22 minutes following a slaloming run to open the scoring.

Juts after half-time, Scott Dobie equalised with a back-post header before the hosts were rocked by Alan Wright’s own goal, Marcus Stewart’s thumping header and David Proton’s red card.

The tie went into extra-time where Lee Morris put Yeovil ahead on aggregate before Gary Holt volleyed home to make it 4-4 overall.

But up popped Davies again in the 19th minute of the added period to coolly slot home and end the scoring in what was a pulsating encounter.
