We are taking a look at a player today who is seen as a bit of a legend at Barnet but who has also got one of the most astonishing goal ratios we’ve ever seen in the green and white of Yeovil Town.

Giuliano Grazioli is a name that rings bells with FA Cup fans everywhere for the time he secured Stevenage Borough a draw at Newcastle in the 1998 fourth round.

But before he secured his place on BBC FA Cup montages for the foreseeable future the London-born striker has made a name for himself on the terraces of Huish Park.

He joined Yeovil, on loan, from Peterborough United in 1995; he made just 13 appearances in the green and white, but scored an incredible 16 times.

He scored on his debut against Worthing, then twice against Molesey, twice more against Purfleet and another against Dulwich Hamlet. Not a bad first month at your new club.

He wasn’t done there though; braces against Hayes, Hendon, Bishops Stortford and Hitchin followed with another goal vs Worthing just for good measure.

He would end up the club’s second top scorer behind Warren Patmore for that season, all within barely two and a half months.

Grazioli returned to Peterborough and spent more time on loan eventually at Stevenage where his FA Cup heroics would thrust him into the national limelight.

He signed for Swindon and then Bristol Rovers before Barnet snapped him up as part of the deal that saw Junior Agogo … go… in the other direction.

He would score the goals that would catapult the Bees back into the Football League.

During the 2004/05 season his goals would win Barnet the league top scoring in the division with over 30 goals in all competitions.

His Barnet spell was easily the longest of his career, making nearly 150 appearances across five years. Only injury prevented him playing many, many more.

He left Barnet in 2008 and would end up at Braintree and then Dover before calling time on a career that had lasted 15 years.

Grazioli moved into coaching and scouting and helped Barnet survive relegation in 2011 in the positive on Caretaker Manager.

He took it down to the final day and stayed up with a 1-0 win against Port Vale.

His time with Barnet was such a success that they have even named a bar after him at the Hive Stadium.

“Graziolis” was opened by the man himself in March this year. Going on his form with Yeovil, I highly doubt he had just one celebratory drink, he always scores in twos!

It is the Grazioli derby this Tuesday night and we’re backing the loan spell with the incredible scoring ratio over longevity and legend status and you can too by coming along to support the green and whites.
