Experienced striker Izale McLeod arrived at Huish Park towards the end of August 2016 after leaving League Two rivals Notts County.
The 31-year-old moved to Meadow Lane for a six-figure sum back in the summer of 2015 after scoring 21 goals for Crawley Town.
After finishing the 2015/16 season as County’s second top goal scorer, McLeod became a free agent in August 2016 before quickly being snapped up by Darren Way to arrive in Somerset.
Prolific across the Football league, the striker has scored over 150 career goals in a little over 450 appearances since starting his career at Derby County.
The former England Under-21 international has featured for 12 clubs across the Football League including MK Dons, Charlton Athletic, Barnet and Portsmouth, being named League Two Player of the Year in 2007 as well as making the PFA Team of the Year on two occasions.
