Defender Alex Lacey arrived at Huish Park ahead of the 2015/16 season from fellow League Two outfit Luton Town, penning a two-year deal in Somerset.

The 23-year-old signed his first professional contract with the Hatters in 2010, after coming through the youth ranks at Kenilworth Road.

Previously a one-club man until signing for Town, Lacey did however enjoy loan spells at Cambridge City, Thurrock, Eastbourne Borough and Eastleigh.

The Milton Keynes-born central defender played an integral part in returning Luton to the Football league in 2014, before featuring 20 times for the Hatters during the 2014/15 season in League Two.

Lacey arrived at Huish Park in the summer of 2015 and made 25 appearances for the Glovers last season.
