BAGGY BAGS WINNER OVER GULLS

A 20th minute header from defender Rhys Baggridge was enough to give Yeovil Town's youth team a vaulable 1-0 win over Torquay United in their opening Football League Youth Alliance match at Somerton this morning.
Baggridge's goal from a Jonny Kaye corner was the bright spot in an even first half period played in poor conditions but ensured the young Glovers got off to a winning start.
Will Gordon and Lloyd Matthews had further opportunities to add to the slender lead in the second half but the Glovers had to settle for the narrow victory.
Gordon had another chance late on to seal the game but was brought down outside the box by the Gulls keeper who escaped with a yellow card.
Yeovil team:
Steve Boore, Aidan Chainey, Joe Grimstead, Jonny Kaye, Rhys Baggridge, Nick Lyskov, Lewis Clarke, Rob Clowes, Lloyd Matthews, Adam Cleary, Will Gordon.
Subs: Ben Kendall, Tyler Sheppard (for Cleary 77), Will Agbo, Andy Baker, Mitch Conning (for Kaye 60)
