YOUTHS HOLD ON AGAINST ROVERS

Yeovil Town's under-18's side grabbed another three points this morning as they secured a 3-2 win over Bristol Rovers at Sherborne.
The Glovers got off to an absolute flyer when Corey Lewis set Tyler Sheppard up to fire home after just forty five seconds.
Lihgtning then struck twice as Yeovil scored an identical second when Sheppard turned in another Lewis pass on ten minutes.
Lloyd Matthews came on for Lewis Clarke five minutes later after the youngster suffered a strain.
With seven minutes of the first half remaining, Sheppard turned provider when his hard work set up Lewis for Yeovil's third.
With the words of Rovers manager Darren Patterson ringing in their ears, the Gas came out a different side and reduced the deficit three minutes in with a goal from ex-Birmingham player Shane Williams.
Within ten minutes, Rovers had a clear opportunity to pull another goal back when Rhys Baggridge gave away a penalty but Ryan Peacock saved the penalty from Jack McKenna.
Twenty five minutes were left on the clock when Rovers eventually got their second, a header from Jordan Tillson, son of ex-Rovers first teamer Steve.
Tom Gallagher left the field on 72 minutes after sustaining an ankle ligament injury and he was replaced by under-15 starlet Adam Chainey.
Despite Rovers pressuring for an equaliser, it wasn't to be and manager Mo Hopkins said "In the first half, we played with confidence and fluidity but after the break, we seemed to think it was all over. "
"However we regained our concentration and eventually saw the game out well."
There should also be a special mention for John Olde, the groundsman at Sherborne School who, with his staff, proved a star after getting the pitch ready after the late switch.
