GRECIANS 4 GLOVERS 1

Yeovil Town's youth team finally got their 2010 underway today with a 4-1 reverse at the hands of Exeter City.
The side, who actually haven't played since early December, slumped to defeat just hours before the two respective first teams faced each other at Huish Park.
With just two second years and an under-15 player, it was no surprise that in the early stages, it was the hosts that dominated proceedings.
After thirteen minutes, Tom Nicholls slotted the ball under Glovers gloveman Connor Siddley-Adams to put City ahead and seven minutes later, Nicholas Watts made it 2-0.
A tactical switch by manager Mo Hopkins saw Rob Clowes dropping into defence while Tyler Sheppard went the other way.
Exeter also hit the post in the one-sided first half and at half time, Hopkins was forced into two more changes bringing on Lloyd Matthews and Adam Cleary for Sheppard and Adam Chainey.
Just three minutes in, Watts grabbed his second and Exeter's third but the Glovers came back well and on 51 minutes, Clowes pulled it back to 3-1 with a firm header.
There was no further scoring until the dying moments when Arron Dawson finished well to make the score 4-1.
Manager Hopkins was pleased that his three returning reecent absentees - Ciaran Levet, Rhys Baggridge and Lewis Clarke - all came through unscathed though a little rusty.
