LADIES APPOINT NEW COACH

Posted on: Mon 28 Jun 2010
Yeovil Town Ladies are pleased to announce that former Arsenal and Yeovil defender Roy O'Brien has joined the coaching staff.

Roy, 35, will continue as Community Officer at the Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust.

The popular Irishman previously managed Dorchester Town after leaving the Glovers and can also name Wigan Athletic, Bournemouth and Weymouth among his previous clubs.

He played more than 120 games for the Glovers and was a pivotal member of the squad that enjoyed unprecedented success by winning the FA Trophy and Conference titles.

He will join the coaching staff of a squad now preparing for life in the FA Women's Premier League and we wish Roy every success in his new role with the Ladies set-up.
