Yeovil Town FC have been quick to offer support for a teenage paperboy knocked off his pushbike by a car and currently in an induced coma.
Louis Kadir, 13, from Sherborne is a Yeovil Town fan and was delivering morning papers a fortnight ago when he was in a collision with a car at the junction of North Road and Newland. He was initally taken to Yeovil District Hospital with serious head injuries and later moved to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol.
Now the club are set to give Louis a shirt signed by the first team squad.
Yeovil Town commercial manager Dave Linney told the Western Gazette "We were really dismayed to hear about the accident involving Louis and the shirt is a small token from us to hopefully aid his recovery and boost morale. With him being a Yeovil Town fan, we hope to see him at Huish Park as soon as possible."
Glovers manager Terry Skiverton sent a message to Louis's brother on social networking site Facebook and has promised the shirt as well as sending a message of support to Louis.
From everyone at Huish Park, our best wishes go to Louis for a swift and successful recovery.
