FREE VIDEO: OWAIN RETURNS....

Posted on: Fri 03 Sep 2010
New Glovers loan signing Owain Tudur Jones has spoken of his delight at getting another chance to play for Yeovil Town.

The 25-year-old Welsh international spoke to www.ytfc.net earlier today and said that he welcomed the opportunity to come back down to Somerset for another loan period and hoped it would last a little longer this time.

"It's nice to be back with staff that know what I'm about" he said. "I think it's different to last year in that I'm more realistic about my situation. I'd love to stay longer here and I know that it will be down to my performances on the park."

Owain joined the Glovers last week in time to make the long trip north to Oldham and made his second debut in the hard fought draw at Boundary Park. "It's good for me to get in a run of games and getting my body used to playing games again" he confirmed.

He also revealed that he had been down to Huish Park long before his arrival here on loan. "I came here to visit Darren (Way, his old Swansea team-mate) at the time he was starting to walk again. It was around about the same time that I got my move to Norwich City so nothing happened then but I always had an interest in Yeovil through Darren."
