Supporters at Tuesday night's Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie with Exeter City at Huish Park have been praised for their generosity by two City fans who sold draw tickets on the night.
Rich Marshall and Sharon Boulton were selling the draw tickets to raise money for two beneficiaries connected with the family of former Glovers striker Adam Stansfield who passed away last month after a battle with bowel cancer.
The Adam Stansfield Family Fund was set up to provide support for Adam's family while the Adam Stansfield Foundation will benefit youth team football in the region.
The draw featured more than twenty special prizes including two return flights to any of club sponsor Flybe's destinations along with signed shirts, golf days, vouchers and framed signed pictures.
The club have received this emal from Sharon expressing her thanks along with details of how the draw will progress from here...
"I am writing just to say thanks to everyone at Yeovil Town FC who made myself and Rich welcome at the game with regards to selling these draw tickets. The stewards and staff were more than helpful and it is really appreciated.
"I would also like to thank the fans of Yeovil who were more than generous and although we only had a limited amount of time to sell the tickets, we sold £470 worth."
Sharon explained in her message to the club that the draw will take place during half time of this Saturday's home League One clash with Charlton Athletic and that all winners will be notified by telephone on Monday, 6th September.
If any Yeovil Town fans are lucky enough to win, the prizes will be taken to Yeovil Town Football Club and left there for collection.
She closed by thanking all fans who supported the draw and promised us another visit on 25th September for the League One game between the two sides.
