YOUNG ROB JOINS THE GLOVERS

Posted on: Thu 29 Jul 2010
Yeovil Town are pleased to announce the signing of defender / midfielder Rob Kiernan from Watford.

The 19-year-old signs on a month's loan from Vicarage Road where he has been now for three years after originally joining on a two year scholarship. This was turned into a developmental contract which was then extended until June 2011.

Rob, who has also received call-ups into the Eire under-19 squad, made his one, and so far only, appearance for the Hornets in a fourth round FA Cup tie against Crystal Palace in January 2009, coming on as a last minute substitute.

Last season, the 6'1" Watford-born player went out on loan to Scottish Premier League side Kilmarnock for whom he made five first team appearances, two of which were against Celtic.

Welcome to Huish Park, Rob, and we all hope you enjoy your stay with us here in Somerset.
