Warren Patmore's new side Witheridge triumphed by a goal to nil in deepest Devon tonight with a goal just before half time splitting the sides.

On a bumpy pitch, a more physical Witheridge side overcame the young Glovers who consisted of five scholars, a trialist plus the bulk of the youth team.

The visitors had enough chances to win the game but the only goal came from the hosts on 37 minutes.
