In less than two weeks time, Yeovil Town will be playing a Manchester United XI at Huish Park in a benefit match for former Glovers midfielder Darren Way.
The game takes place on Saturday July 24th with a 3.00pm kick off and tickets are selling well for the big day. The game will be a well-deserved benefit for Darren, one of the most popular players of the last decade, who was seriously injured in a car accident in December 2008 and was forced to officially quit his playing career earlier this year.
Now we're looking for supporters who want to send Darren a message and see their greetings in the programme. You may have memories of Darren, have met him personally or simply admired him from the terraces and stands in his long spell at the club.
If you send in your messages for Darren to ytfcprogramme@gmail.com , we will print as many as we can in the matchday programme which will be a special souvenir edition to mark the special day for Darren.
The programme is sure to be a collectors item with many contributions coming from Darren's ex team mates, managers and present colleagues.
Deadline day will be this coming Friday, July 16th, so
please get your messages into us as soon as possible and reserve yourself a place in what promises to be a great programme to mark an even greater servant of the Glovers.
