EXCITEMENT BUILDS FOR FIXTURE RELEASE

Posted on: Mon 14 Jun 2010
As it stands, there are now just sixty hours to go until the football world finds out where it will be spending the next nine months of weekends.

Yes, the Football League fixtures will be released at 9.00am on Thursday morning and all Glovers fans can start booking the days off, the weekend breaks and select their away games of choice with immediate effect.

The official site will be the first place to see the fixture list in full - it will be released to the clubs ahead of the deadline but will only be published once the 9.00am embargo has passed.

There is plenty to look forward to for Yeovil fans next season. Former Premiership giants Norwich City and Leeds United may have left the League One scene but we still have Charlton Athletic and Southampton who have been joined by Championship relegation side Sheffield Wednesday.

In addition, the division takes on a regional look for 2010/11 with Bristol Rovers, Exeter City, Swindon and the Saints remaining from last season with Plymouth Argyle and Bournemouth making up a local looking sextet.

With former managers Gary Johnson and Russell Slade returning with their new clubs (Peterborough and Leyton Orient respectively), ex-Glovers stars Alan Pardew and Paul Tisdale also coming back to Huish Park, all eyes will be on the club's official website to see who goes where and when.

Don't forget to look back in on Thursday morning at 9.00am for the first, the fastest and official fixture list for season 2010/11.
