Yeovil Town are delighted to announce that Bristol Rovers attacker Andy Williams has agreed personal terms with Yeovil and is expected to join for pre-season training on July 1st, subject to a successful medical.

Williams joins the Glovers after three seasons at the Memorial Stadium which saw him play more than a hundred games as either a striker or a wide man.

He spent most of season 2008/09 on loan at his first club Hereford United who he joined as a schoolboy. He made 117 appearances for the Bulls scoring 23 times including some important goals.

He grabbed the first equaliser in the Conference play-off final against Halifax, a game the Bulls won 3-2 to regain their place in the Football League. It followed his goal in the semi-final at home to Morecambe that put Hereford 3-2 ahead on aggregate in the tie.

We would like to wish Andy every success at Huish Park and hope he enjoys his stay with the club.
