NATHAN'S OFF TO THE NOU CAMP

Posted on: Wed 19 May 2010
As Barcelona continue their well-publicised courtship of Cesc Fabregas, Yeovil Town assistant manager Nathan Jones looks set to beat the Spanish midfielder to the Nou Camp.

Jones, who will celebrate his 37th birthday at the end of the month, is in Spain at the moment and has been invited to Barcelona to watch training sessions and build up his book of contacts.

The left back, who with manager Terry Skiverton steered the Glovers to mid-table in League One this season, is looking forward to the trip and plans to make the most of his time in the Nou Camp.

The Welsh defender spent three seasons in Spain in the mid nineties featuring for Numancia and CD Badajoz before returning to England, signing for Southend United in 1997.
