It's derby day at Huish Park tomorrow as Yeovil Town take on Bristol Rovers in a League One clash. Kick off is at 3.00pm and tickets are still available from the ticket office, by ringing 01935 847888 or by buying online.
Both teams come into the game after 1-0 midweek defeats. Yeovil made the long trip north to Carlisle and were beaten by a solitary Adam Clayton goal while Rovers travelled considerably fewer miles down the M5 to Exeter where they lost to a late goal.
That defeat at St James Park ended a decent little run for the Pirates who had beaten Colchester, Stockport and Swindon along with a point against Tranmere Rovers at the Memorial Stadium.
The Glovers have enjoyed a good spell of form too. Wins against Walsall, MK Dons and Hartlepool were only interrupted by a defeat at Championship-bound Norwich City.
The Glovers that travelled up the A37 in October will not forget the match in a hurry. One down with thirty minutes left, manager Terry Skiverton threw Jonathan Obika on to cause havoc and within five minutes, it was Yeovil ahead when Obika and Terrell Forbes both scored.
The excitement generated from the match was nothing unusual for fans who regularly attend these derby matches. At the Memorial Stadium, who could forget Nick Crittenden's stunning winner in 2003/04 or the stormy 2-2 draw the following season which saw the home side come from two down and two men down.
The goals and incident hasn't been restricted to Bristol though. Yeovil have twice thumped four goals past Bristol Rovers with Phil Jevons grabbing a treble in 2004/05 or the season before when goals from Lockwood, El Kholti, Williams and Miles prompted a mass exodus from the away terraces.
In head-to-head matches, Yeovil lead 4-1 with four draws and Skiverton will be looking to preserve that proud record against a Rovers team keen to avoid their neighbours completing a double over them.
