Yeovil Town's new signing Luke Ayling has talked to the club's official website and revealed that he had spoken with an ex-Glover before signing for the club.
Luke, who signed for the club yesterday on a loan deal from Arsenal, talked to Spurs midfielder Ryan Mason about his time at Huish Park.
"I chatted with Ryan and he said he'd enjoyed his time with Yeovil. I know both him and Steven Caulker through playing against them in the north London derby youth games."
Luke joined the Glovers for the first loan spell of his career after being with the Gunners since he was eight. He played in the reserve team at the age of fifteen and also spoke of his versatility.
"I usually play in the centre of defence but I can also play on the right side of the back four. I've also played right wing and as a holding midfielder as well but centre half is my regular spot."
Luke looks certain to have a bright future in football and all at Yeovil Town wish the youngster a happy and successful time at Huish Park.
