Yeovil Town have announced the signing of midfielder Scott Davies from Reading on loan until April 13th.
Scott, who was 22 years old last Wednesday, has recently returned from a loan spell at League One strugglers Wycombe Wanderers where he played seventeen games, scoring four goals. He featured in the 4-0 defeat at Huish Park on Boxing Day.
Scott's season had begun with five games for his parent club in the Championship including games against promotion contenders Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest and Swansea.
He has been at the Madejski Stadium for four years though most of this time has been spent away on loan. He had two successful years with Aldershot where his goals helped the Shots out of the Conference and into League Two.
His record of 23 goals from 83 appearances for a midfielder earned him a call up into the Republic of Ireland under-21 squad for the friendly against Germany in Cork though he was unused.
Welcome to Huish Park, Scott, and we hope you enjoy your stay with the Glovers.
