After several tweets from manager Terry Skiverton, Yeovil Town are pleased to announce the signing of defender Luke Ayling from Arsenal on a loan agreement for a month.
Luke, who was eighteen in August, is an accomplished, ball-playing six-footer, who has made several appearances for the Gunners' reserve side this season. He signed a professional contract in July last year.
He was also an integral part in the Arsenal Youth team's double-winning side last season under the stewardship of legendary central defender Steve Bould.

London-born Luke joined Arsenal at the age of ten and has described Bould as a big influence on his career. He made his first appearance for the Arsenal youth team while still only fifteen in a brief appearance on the right side of midfield.
His strength, both in the air and on the ground, has helped him excel in other positions, having played on the right side of a back four and also further forward although he is first and foremost a centre half.
Last Tuesday, he played the first hour of a friendly against Colorado Rapids before being substituted.
Welcome to Huish Park, Luke, and may your stay in Somerset be a happy and successful one!
