Yeovil Town Ladies turned on a great second half performance in the FA Cup at Plantation Park on Sunday, to come back from a goal behind to beat Norwich City Ladies 3-1 and set up a dream fifth round tie with Premier League Nottingham Forest in round five.
"What a superb win!" Glovers boss Steve Phelps said after the game. "It was a tough tie, and they caused us a lot of problems in the first half, but we came back well in the second to take the game.
"It was hard fought, but every girl played her part, and in the end it was a tremendous win. I am delighted for the players, delighted for the club and for everyone connected with the club. "
Kayleigh Nardiello, Kim Turner and Jemma Tewkesbury scored the all important Yeovil Town goals, all coming in the second half, cancelling out Paige Shorten's first half strike for the Canaries. Yeovil were probably not at their best for periods of the first half, but really turned it on after the break to come out worthy winners.
