Yeovil Town have this week announced the signing of Arron Davies. The former Glovers attacker joins on a loan deal from Brighton until the end of the season.
A deal had been in place to sign Arron on the transfer window deadline day but complications with the deal meant the club were not able to complete the transfer.
Since then and after a lot of behind the scenes activity by club secretary Jean Cotton the complications have been resolved to allow Arron to rejoin the club.
Talking to www.ytfc.net this week, Arron admitted "I'm relieved that it's over now and that I can get down to playing football again. I've got fifteen or so games left to firstly get my match fitness back and then improve."
The Welsh wing wizard is happy to be back at the club where he really made his name. "I've got a special affinity with Yeovil after Gary Johnson and the club took the chance on me when they reached the Football League. Yeovil Town has a great family atmosphere and I enjoyed some great times here before and I hope I can get back to that sort of form again."
Arron, still only 25, scored 27 goals in 115 appearances during his first spell at Huish Park and is looking forward to playing wherever manager Terry Skiverton decides is his best position. "Obviously I can play on either wing, up front or as an attacking midfielder in a 4-3-3 but I'll be happy wherever the boss chooses. "
His £1.2 million joint transfer deal with Chris Cohen had vastly different outcomes for the pair.
While Cohen has gone from strength to strength at the City Ground and has been tipped for Premiership stardom with or without Forest, Arron initially looked great in pre-season before injury put paid to his chances.
"I was playing well before a nasty leg injury forced me out for a while. I couldn't ever get into a settled run; I don't think I even played more than three games back-to-back there. Billy Davies (the manager) was good to me and he didn't discard me ever but I didn't get much game time up there.
And, after a brief hiccup, Davies is back home at Huish Park."It was a massive disappointment to find out that there was a hold-up in the transfer but the club have been really helpful in sorting everything out. I'd like to say a massive thank-you to Jean Cotton, the secretary, for sorting everything out for me."
"Now I just want to get back and concentrate on my football and help the club as best I can. I've kept fit over the past few weeks by training all the time and now I want to get back to enjoying my football again."

For most though, Arron will be remembered for the two goals he scored at the City Ground against Forest in the 2006/07 play-off semi final second leg.
His first came after a trademark run from inside his own half topped off with a low, accurate shot into the net while his second saw him the calmest man in the ground as he cemented Yeovil's place at Wembley with a cool finish in front of the 1,100 travelling Glovers.
He left Yeovil for the City Ground in a £1.2 million deal with Chris Cohen but injuries and a dip in form have seen him make forty appearances in his time there, many from off the bench.
Everyone at Huish Park would like to wish Arron well in his second coming with Yeovil Town and hope that he has a long and equally successful time at Huish Park.
