As reported on the official Hartlepool club website, they are appealing for volunteers to help clear the snow from the protective covers this morning.

The covers, put on to ward off last night's frost, have two or three inches of snow on them from last night. Temperatures a little south of Hartlepool dropped as low as -11 last night.

The groundstaff have intimated that the pitch underneath is playable but that they need people to come with their snow shovels and remove the snow ahead of kick off.
