Last Saturday saw the presentation of the special, signed commemorative shirts that were auctioned off by the Royal British Legion.
Almost twenty shirts were up for bidding and once the auction closed at noon on November 30th, a total of £3,360 was raised by all the generous bidders eager to grab a souvenir shirt and make a pledge to the Legion's appeal.
The shirts were worn by players in the Huish Park match against Southend plus other members of the first team squad along with a special shirt signed by the whole squad.
RBL County secretary John Prior revealed the final figures at the end of the auction stating "Please pass on our sincerest thanks to all the Yeovil Town supporters. Their marvellous generosity has seen the appeal benefit to the tune of £3,360.
In addition, the bucket collection at the ground that day raised a further £831 making a total of £4,191."
