Yeovil's new physiotherapist Simon Baker has emphasised the club's new approach to fitness under the management of Terry Skiverton and Nathan Jones.
A more focused approach on rehabilitation together with a detailed recovery programme will ensure there will be no easy ride for any of Yeovil's injured stars.
"Terry and Nathan want to go in a different direction as regards to physio and fitness" said Baker, a local man who spent four seasons at Huish Park in the youth and reserve teams.
"The programmes will be based on evidence and research and should shorten the recovery times of injured players."
He'd previously left Huish Park to finish his degree at Coventry University before returning back to the area, dreaming of coming back to the club but never imagining it would happen.
The young physio joined the Glovers from his position at Yeovil District Hospital where he was in charge of supervising the recovery of midfielder Darren Way, seriously injured in a car crash in December.
"The involvement with Darren was a huge influence on me getting this post" he said. "I knew Darren from before so it was nice for him to work with someone he knew and trusted so we built up a good relationship"
As for the players, trips like the one to the Nuffield Centre in Yeovil recently will be a regular occurrence. "They are a great way of evaluating an injured player's progress and will also help Terry and Nathan record the fitness on a regular basis" said Simon.
