Yeovil Town defender Nathan Smith is recovering well after a minor hernia operation.

The 22-year-old left-back has missed the first week of pre-season training but will return to the club next week to begin his rehab.

Manager Terry Skiverton said "We sent Nathan to the same surgeon that dealt with both myself and Nathan Jones. He isn't at training this week but I'm confident that he'll be ready for the first league game of the season."
