Yeovil Town Youth Team drew their first Youth Alliance League game 2-2 after a brace from Josh Robinson secured a point against a lively Bournemouth side.
Yeovil started off well and created a chance in the first minute, but unfortunately Josh Robinson's fine run and cross was missed by everyone.
Yeovil passed the ball about well and deservedly took the lead on 7 minutes after a long throw by Danny Thompson was headed on by captain Jason Sangha for Josh Robinson to fire into the net with a good shot.
Yeovil were well on top and the large crowd couldn't believe the referee did not award a penalty when Josh Robinson was tumbled over by the Bournemouth goalkeeper.
After 25 minutes, having had little pressure on the Yeovil goal, a harmless cross resulted in a goal for the away team after a misunderstanding from keeper Jamie Beeche and Jason Sangha which gifted Bournemouth their equaliser.
The goal lifted Bournemouth and they began to get on top for the last 10 minutes of the half.
The second half wasn't as good to watch with both sides struggling to keep the ball. Mid way through the half Bournemouth took the lead when two Yeovil defenders went for the same header from the resulting corner and another soft goal was scored.
Yeovil fought back valiantly and produced a few corners and they were more direct in trying to rescue the game. With 10 minutes left Yeovil were rewarded for their efforts when Josh Robinson equalised to the great delight of his teammates.
