Yeovil Town v Doncaster Rovers - Match Preview

The Glovers tomorrow take on old rivals Doncaster Rovers in their last home game of the league season, requiring a win to guarantee a place in this season's play-offs.
Rovers are a good side, and despite having no chance of the play-offs themselves, they will present a tough test for Russell Slade's men.
It should be a good game though, so it will be well worth coming along, especially with the lads wearing the new home kit for the first time.
A good crowd is expected, with the supporters keen to cheer the Glovers to success in a game that everyone in Somerset will be willing them to win.
Recent Form
The Glovers come into this game having won their last three home matches, with them also now hitting good form as well.
The performance against Rotherham during the 1-0 win was good, and especially so, once Marcus Stewart scored the all important goal just before half time.
This Huish Park victory followed homes wins over Leyton Orient and Chesterfield.
In between there was the 2-0 defeat at Ashton Gate, plus the defeats at Scunthorpe and Oldham, all coming after the wins against Swansea City and Cheltenham.
There is no doubting the quality in the Doncaster Rovers squad, but they have had a mixed season, with them shedding their long term manager Dave Penney, bringing in Bournemouth boss Sean O'Driscoll.
Since his arrival at the club, their form has improved with them being a difficult team to beat, although they have been a little bit too inconsistent to really challenge for the play-offs.
They come to Huish Park having beaten Brentford 3-0 at home.Previous to that they drew 1-1 with Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road, with them losing 2-1 to Millwall at the Keepmoat Stadium.
Recent Meetings
These two clubs go right back to the Conference days, and it was of course Rovers that the Glovers beat to confirm their promotion to the Football League back in 2003 with that now famous 4-0 win.
The game last December at Doncaster produced a good 1-0 win for Yeovil, with Phil Jevons making a good run into the box to score a great goal, to decide it.
The return game at Huish Park in the April brought another good victory, with Yeovil coming out worthy 3-0 winners.
Terry Skiverton gave Yeovil the lead on 8 minutes when he belted the ball in from 15 yards, before Phil Jevons doubled the lead on 57 minutes scoring from close range.
Arron Davies then grabbed the third just before time when he got on the end of a rebound after the Rovers' 'keeper failed to hold onto a Kevin Gall shot.
Yeovil, of course, missed out on the last chance to play at Belle Vue back in December because of a waterlogged pitch, but returned to Yorkshire in February to take on Rovers in their new Keepmoat Stadium.
The game was hard fought and highly competitive with both teams very much looking to come out winners, but in the end they cancelled each other out in a 0-0 draw.
Yeovil Town Team News
Russell Slade has a few injury worries coming into this game.
Matty Rose injured his calf last weekend, and unfortunately has not recovered in time.
Both Chrissie Cohen and Terry Skiverton picked up injuries at Bristol City a fortnight ago.
Cohen recovered from his twisted ankle enough to be able to play against Rotherham and having received further treatment this week, is again fit enough to play.
Skiverton, unfortunately did not recover from his groin injury in time to play last weekend, but went back into training on Thursday and hopes to be fit for this latest encounter, although he faces assessment tomorrow.
JP Kalala injured his knee in training at the start of the week, but was back in training today and pending a late fitness test, he should make the game.
The only player who definitely misses out is of course Paul Terry, who remains on course for a return to action in pre-season.
Doncaster Rovers Team News
