Billy, who is a 6'1" right midfielder, was released by Championship side Watford in the summer after three years at Vicarage Road. Two of those were spent on a scholarship while his final year was after he had signed a developmental contract allowing him to continue his time with Watford, a spell that included another Yeovil loanee, Rob Kiernan, as a team mate.
During his final season, he spent a month on loan at non-league Wealdstone where he scored twice in five games. His single appearance for the Hornets was in the Carling Cup two seasons ago when he came on as a sub for Ryan Harley in the 1-0 win over Bristol Rovers.
During Billy's first season at Huish Park, he made five appearances, all from the bench.
