Aidan joined the Glovers on a two year deal in July 2008 after a successful loan period towards the end of the 2007-2008 season.
He quickly impressed both the management team and fans during his short time at Huish Park, especially at the Liberty Stadium where he scored a vital goal against League One Champions Swansea City, which in turn guaranteed safety in League One for the Glovers.
Aidan, who joined Everton's Academy in 2005 from Tolka Rovers, progressed through the youth set up until he suffered an injury at the end of the 2005/2006 Season.
Once he had recovered from his injury, Aidan recieved International call ups for the Republic of Ireland U19's squad and made his debut for the Republic of Ireland U21's in October 2007 in a friendly against Sweden.
