Luke joins the Glovers on a youth loan deal until December from Premiership giants Arsenal and becomes the second Gunner to join this summer. Luke's youth team mate, Luke Ayling has also joined Yeovil after a successful loan spell last season.
The "new" Luke comes to Yeovil with a pedigree of scoring goals at youth level for the Gunners. Last season he made 24 appearances for Steve Bould's under-18 team scoring fifteen goals and was rewarded with a spell in the reserves where he scored against Chelsea.
The Dartford-born striker was released by Charlton Athletic and signed for Gillingham at the age of eleven. His rise there was meteoric and he made his first, and only, first team appearance when he came on as a substitute in an FA Cup tie against Barnet. This made the forward the youngest ever player to appear in the FA Cup proper at the age of 15 years, 233 days.
He joined the Gunners in January 2008 and signed professional forms with them in April 2009 impressing both Bould and Head of Youth Development Liam Brady.
His last appearance in an Arsenal shirt was the 5-3 Academy Premier League victory over Nottingham Forest where he scored twice. Luke has also represented England at both under-16 and under-17 level scoring five goals in fifteen games.
