Owain began his career at Bangor City where he was spotted by Swansea City and signed in 2005. He spent four years with the South Wales Club where he was a team-mate of both Darren Way and Shaun MacDonald.
After fifty-six appearances and four goals, and a brief loan spell with Swindon Town, Norwich City paid the Swans £250,000 for his services in July of last year.
He has currently played just six games for Norwich City and has three full Welsh international caps to his name as well.
