Jean-Paul is a combative, tough-tackling central midfielder who has earned international caps with the Democratic Republic of Congo.

This is his second spell with the Glovers following his single season at Huish Park, the season that Yeovil reached the playoff final.

JP, as he is known, began his career at Nice and came over to the UK signing for Grimsby Town spending a season at Blundell Park.

He joined Yeovil and scored one goal in his 41 appearances previously but had an inadvertent hand in Yeovil's second leg play-off semi final victory over Nottingham Forest.His shot rebounded off a post and defender Alan Wright to bring the score back to 3-2 on aggregate.

He left the Glovers and joined Oldham Athletic for two seasons which included a loan spell back at Grimsby Town before he was released last season.

He came back to Yeovil in the summer of 2009 and signed an extension to his contract in June 2010. He will shortly make his 150th League appearance, more than half of which have been at Yeovil.
