Nathan was appointed as assistant manager to Terry Skiverton in February 2009. The committed left-back with over 150 Yeovil appearances behind him joined his former captain after the departure of previous boss Russell Slade.
He joined Yeovil in the summer of 2005 after having spent five years on the south coast at Brighton & Hove Albion. He had played more than 180 games for the Seagulls and came to Yeovil renowned for being a supremely fit player, a reputation he has upheld since arriving at Huish Park.
He played his first football in his native Wales before joining Luton Town in 1995. He left Kenilworth Road and travelled to Spain where he had a spell with Numancia.
He returned to England and joined Southend United where he played just over a hundred games in three seasons including a loan spell at Scarborough. Leaving Southend, Nathan joined Brighton where his time could best be described as eventful.
Winning two successive promotions from League Two and League One led to a relegation from the Championship in his third season closely followed by a third promotion in four years, beating Bristol City 1-0 in the play-off final at the Millennium Stadium.
Yeovil came calling in 2005 and Nathan found himself on the brink of promotion again in his second season with the Glovers. This time, however, it wasn't to be and the side went down 2-0 to Blackpool at Wembley.
He started his coaching badges and coached the Yeovil Town Ladies team before being appointed assistant manager of the first team in February 2009.. His desire, commitment and fitness are an example to the youngsters of the club.
Last season he began the season as first choice left back due to the injury to Nathan Smith and is nearing 500 career appearances.
