The 22-year-old keeper arrives at Huish Park after impressing in the pre-season friendly victory over a Manchester United XI in Darren Way's benefit match.
The 6'2" Sussex-born stopper signed professional forms with Brighton & Hove Albion in 2005 where he stayed for four seasons making seventeen appearances. Although the likes of Nathan Jones, Ben Roberts, Sam Williams and Dean Bowditch have all played for the Seagulls in recent years, the only Huish Park face he has actually played with is Adam Virgo.
John left the Withdean Stadium in July 2009 signing for Millwall on a free transfer. He made one appearance for the Lions last season against Barnet in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
