Huish Park will be the penultimate finishing point of the 2009 Tour of Britain on the 18th of September in support of the Prostate Cancer Charity.
Huish Park Stadium is the finishing point of stage seven which begins in Hatherleigh, Devon and continues through Axminster,Chard and Crewkerne before finishing at Yeovil.
The Tour of Britain begins in North Lincolnshire at Scunthorpe on Saturday 12th September, finishing eight days later in the centre of London on Saturday 19th September.
The event sees the start of the partnership between the Tour of Britain and the Prostate Cancer Charity called 'Unite ByCycling' with the money going towards helping over 35,000 men who are diagnosed with the disease every year.

John Neate, Chief Executive of The Prostate Cancer Charity, said: "This partnership represents a really exciting new chapter in the life of the Charity and a great opportunity for us to raise awareness and funds, as well as gain support on a local and national level.
The Charity is excited to be involved with the fast growing sport of cycling and the UK's leading cycle event."
The event will test 96 of the world's top cyclists across 14 different venues in the UK. News on how the club will be involved will be revealed in the coming weeks.
