In October, npower kicked off its Home Team Heroes programme asking fans how to spend the £10,000 donated to each of the 72 clubs.
Voting for npower's Hometeam heroes has now closed - and npower received a staggering 191,000 votes for projects right across the UK.
Clare McDougall, npower's Head of Community & Education is absolutely delighted with the response saying; "so many votes is a fantastic achievement - we are thrilled to have so much support from the Football League clubs. We wanted fans to have a say in which community programme their club wins - 190,000 did just that"
David Edmundson, Head of Football League Trust adds "Working with npower on the Home Team Heroes project will allow our community trusts to deliver activities which will reach into the heart of local communities, and make a positive impact upon young people. It's fantastic that so many people have voted and selected a project which fits the needs of their area"
Thank you to all our fans that took the time to vote for their preferred npower Home Team Heroes project. We received 1,200 votes which is fabulous.
